Switched.

Okay, okay, so I haven't actually had anything to do with "Shoebacca".  I just thought it was hilarious and clever.  But what did you think when you saw that?  That yours truly had switched her favorite website for online shoe purchases?  Come on people!  

I did make a switch involving shoes, though.  You see, I have been running a lot since I moved to San Francisco, and especially over the past few months.  It was time for some new shoes.  I have been a Mizuno loyalist ever since the volleyball days.  Every new pair of workout shoes I have gotten since high school has been made by Mizuno.  But because of the inordinate amount of running I've been doing, I decided I best get some true running shoes--you know, the kind where you go into a shop and they figure out which shoes are best for your feet.  So I went in, tried Mizuno, Brooks, and some other brand I don't remember...and then I fell in love with some Asics!  ASICS!  Really?  I was quite surprised myself.  I have nothing against Asics, I just never guessed that they could sing songs to my feet the way they did!  They make me feel like I'm running on aerodynamic pillows!  It's incredible!  

So there you have it, ladies and gentleman.  My switch.  Yes, involving shoes.  Asics Gel Kayano, to be precise.  I got them in purple.  It's kind of a big deal.
