Life has been absolutely crazy the past few months. Initially we were going to move on the first Saturday of April, but then Mike read that there was going to be an enormous storm in Donner Pass. Since we had already told our landlord we were leaving, and they were planning to make some changes after we left the apartment (of course after we left!) we ended up packing all night Thursday and into Friday morning, and then driving away. Mike was such a champ, he literally moved every single box by himself while I cleaned! We were lucky to have friends that were willing to help us move, but since we ended up moving on Friday at the last minute, we had to do it ourselves.
After we got to Utah, we spent a few days in SLC and then headed to St. George for a family reunion. The picture above is from that week. Kimball, Alyse, Patten, and Talmage are very photogenic, don't you think? Nieces and nephews are the best! Thanks for Dave & Kristin for planning such a fun-filled week!
After the family reunion (Sunday morning), Nat dropped us off in Cedar City at Mike's parents' house. We celebrated Easter, went to church, had a great Easter meal, and packed for our trip. We left for Vegas that night and flew to Spain early the next morning with Mike's parents. We had a great time with them in Spain and Portugal, and Mike and I have been on our own since then, having the time of our lives! We head back to Salt Lake City in a few weeks to face real life.
